I was there at that wook protest. I think it could work for us too, but we have to be careful to not let it spiral out of control like it did during the wook protest when it ended up with almost everybody jumping and yelling at the same time. I think we actually may have caused a quake when so many people were doing that. In the end, the riot police (the CSRs, they have the right to act like riot police, and I understand that) split everybody up, they even said 'if you are protesting, please disperse, or else' (forget the rest after disperse).

I agree with the protest, but we need to keep it more organized and not go out of control.

It might work and I am game, but remember this old thought:

Definition of insanity: to do the same thing over and over and over again and expect a different result.

We have tried many things to get the Devs attention, so far when we have got it they hit us with another nerf. If that happens I believe they will have truly killed off the profession.

Pick a day guys, having them close my account maybe a blessing in the end.

....and then no matter how hard we get nerfed, we still keep CH because we are still some of the coolest characters on the game.

Oh I am so in there ...I had my 2Graul Maulers out and used patrol out in front of the gate to Main City in the game <corillia> hope all MCHs will do this ...create a lag like you never seen b4

Hehe... yes yes. Pull out your grauls and have a /stay macro, the sound will be unbearable. Take out the faambas/malklocs/kimogilas and set them on patrol, rename them all to "Un-nerf-CH." That'd kick so much booty, we should really do this... but yes yes, keep it organised. Flood the CSRs with tickets about our proffession being bugged, stand around each of the major starports with our largest pets, demanding un-nerfage. I/someone else who wouldn't mind/whatever will look more into this, maybe start to organise it and set a date/location and such. I mean c'mon, everyone remembers the lag creatures gave back pre-CHnerffest, right? Coupled with already AFK-spamming morons the servers will crash, mwahaha! *passes out*

I lean towards the Droid Engineer class for inspiration, they actually did it, they got the Droids Attack patch cancelled, along with droideka and droid commander class, and changed to the droids rebuilt patch, where most of the bugs and problems were made to be corrected first as a priority. I dont know how they did it, but I am aware of what they did. I think there were polled with a choice of those 2 options, though how they got to that stage I dont know.

Am I the only cinic who noticed that in the 19 questions answered the most dismissive answer was to the CH question. Nearly every class was promised something, but CH " sorry you were done in the previous balance nothing for you" even though the question had nothing to do with the balance but about baby spawning on all cl70 and under creatures. No new content, new certs, new dungeon, specials costs, or combat patch promises or greatness.

I quit a while back, and have come back. Wookies got armor, I was like "when?" Seems there was a rather large protest. Could that work for CHs? I mean, I seriously doubt we'll get anything changed, but wouldn't it be fun? Get all of your largest and loudest pets out at Theed and Coronet, use a /stay macro and let em rooaaaaaar! I can just see it now, Kimos, Malklocs, Rancors, oh my! Also... it'd be fun just to mess with the spammers.

And everyone says the 'Patrol' command is useless. I could set 2 waypoints for my fambaa and have him (her?) start walking back and forth... After changing it's name to something like 'Restore dignity to the CH'...

I'll try organising one on starsider, but all servers should have it on the same day. It should be a jont effort, and let's wait till school's out so we can go all day.

There isn't enough people who care on my server, I think I am like one of five master creature handlers on shadowfire... All the dedicated players are "1337 PvP d00dz", you know, CM, TKA, rifleman, fencer. At least that's how it apears.
