Got this from the DE forum, refering to new probots:

Today - 3200 HAM, 180-190dmg, .76 speed

So...

Probot - 180-190 damage, .76 speed. (243.4 dps, 0 skill points)

Rancor - 420-550 damge, 2.0 speed. (242.5 dps, 106 skill points)

We were worried that Drcoid Commanders would be better than us? Looks like a novice artisan is getting pretty close. We're already slightly outdamaged without spending any skill points, and all a master CH has over a novice artisan now is an extra 7k HAM.

That's bull, do they have AP too? Why do they hate us?

Haven't seen any myself, don't know about the other stats. I think the resists are still an all-around 40%, though. I have heard that the droids are restricted to the 1 sec speed cap, so the dps probably wouldn't be as high as i had said.

Ha, my little crafting droid is level 18. Cons RED to me with no armor modules. But there arent wild droids to go catch just yet that do knockdown and poison, so I'd rather bea CH.

Worlds Coolest Vendor -2563 2246 Talus, just 600m from the Imperial OP. Say Hi to the Vend-O-Matic 9000 and buy my crap!

Yeah but they won't do KD and poison on any kind of regular basis, as only the specials that flash over pets heads are usable on command, you know, the ones surrounded by two plusses, poisons, diseases, knockdowns, and a few others won't work on command, nice two to pair up are dizzy and posture down though, they work on command, great for pvp.

Droid resists have a hard cap of 20% now, with no armor rating anymore (they used to be able to get a max of 40% medium, just FYI)

*sigh* Guess I'll say it here, too.

Probot, 243 dps, 0 SP.

Rancor, 242 dps, 106 SP.

Probot + Rancor, 485 dps, still 106 SP.

So, anyone can pull the droid and have a 'pet' that hurts things as well as your rancor. Nothing's preventing you from pulling one too. Then YOU have TWO friends dealing damage with you. The droid's a tool, not an equalizer. Just like the harvesting droid is a tool... though there IS reason there for Rangers to be upset as they get bitten yet AGAIN by the law of diminishing returns.

A guild member made a 5100 HAM droid, and that was just a first one. Seems they have upgraded the ham on the droids now... and I just pulled out my old probot, DL 19.. ham stinks, but still.. DL 19 pet..

Huh? They changed it so that you can't have a droid and a pet out at the same time?

*logs in to SWG... Calls CL 56 BE Rancor... Calls CL 14 Kaadu mount... Calls CL 18 attack droid... Groups all three*

Uhh...? So NON-CH's can't have both a NON-CH pet and a droid out at the same time? What about a faction pet and a droid at the same time? How about faction pet and animal pet at the same time?

I don't remember any noise about this changing...

Nothings changed, you have never been able to pull out more than one droid out at a time. Unless that was a feature before I purchased the game.

As a DE I know I cant pull out a droid and a pet at the same time.

I've had a "new" droid with crazy fast speed before. It was actually firing at about 2 second intervals and not the less than 1 second that was shown in its stats.

If you buy one of these things make sure you get something with very high damage/high To-Hit/ and SLOW speed or you may not be getting the damage you think you are.

I might go befriend myself a DE on Corbantis to see what kind of damage you can getwith 2 second speed (and was made with high quality components).

Well one thing about droids is you can only have one out at a time. Even DE's can have either a pet or Droid out not both. I saw a CH guildmate of mine with a pair of cats and a droid out at once!
