is there any way to somehow message ur pet a command without saying it out loud? i thougth i saw a way once, but that was a VERY long time ago so i dont remmeber at all anything about it or if it wa even true

ive tried using /tellpet a or whatever many times but i havent gotten it to work yet. i probably wont worry until they give jedis the 'CH muzzle' ability preventing us from speaking, so as our pets chew us up we cant even call for help.

ok, maybe im exxagerating, but the jedi will probably scream for it once we get 75 percent pet mitigations.

Sometimes /tellpet doesn't work for me when I'm training a pet for someone if they want just a single letter for the command. Not sure if that is a consistent problem or not though for everyone.

Correct "/tellpet" doesnt like 1 word commands

cuz i never changed it after i named him so it worked for me :-P

Just don't get to relying on it too much. It has a habit of stopping working for no reason at all.
