Hi all, I played a CH on Eclipse at release, but left the game about 6 months ago. I have recently returned and started on a new Server (Chimaera) and am slowly working my way back up to have some CH skill.
I would really like a pet to grp with and keep me company along the way,
I understand i can only have a cl10 pet ? do I just buy one off the bazaar, or do i need to see a MCH ?
I would like a cat/dog if there are any at that lvl?
Any one can help me out with prices etc, would be much appreciated

You can buy one off the Bazzar or visit a BE shop. You will still need a CH to tame the deed for you and train it commands. If you are just looking for a pet companion you can go with a non-BE pet. Some CH's keep level 10 pets to give to newbs so you might ask around. I give them away but the price should be pretty cheap.

If you can find a CH (doesn't have to be master) then there are several decent non-CH pets available. Some of the rats are pretty decent as a tank against the noob critters. The carrion spat, lesser bol, and lesser dewback are nice and can be mounted.

You can probably get a tougher tank from a BE but personally as a CH I just prefer tamed pets.

if you go for a BE pet, keep in mind you must get one made with a "non aggressive" skin. Kusaks and Chokus are nice dog looking animals, but unfortunately are an agro skin and many non CH get upset when they can't use the nice BE doggie they just bought.

A gurrcat or razor cat body are good for non CH BE pets. If you like cats, go for them.
