Thread: Droid storage?
Just spent a bit searching through the forum in vain, so maybe someone could help me...
Shortly after release, I bought a mouse droid with a storage module on it, back in the time when it was seriously bugged (items disappearing into the ether after dropping it on it, unable to retrieve items from it, etc). I packed the little bugger away, waiting on the day it would be fixed.
Pulled it out last night for the first time so I could swap some things out between my home and the bank ... but there was no open option on the droid, and I couldn't drop anything on it at all.
Is it bugged again? Did they do something like nerf old versions to create new, unbroken ones? Any information on this would be helpful, thanks ![]()
The simple answer is that pre-patch droids with storage modules won't work - it's only POST patch storage modules that work now.
Thanks for the info. ![]()
Guess I can rename it and use it for advertising ![]()

You use to be able to store pets in a droid's data storage module, but they stopped that a very long time ago. So to answer your question, no. The only place to store your pets is in your data padd.
I have no idea what the habitat is for, it might have something to do with thelive samples you can get from searching alair.
Yeah, the creature habitat is used to release those creature samples in a (very brief) visual display. So if you make a creature habitat with butterfly samples, using it will surround you with tiny fluttering butterflies for a few seconds.
You don't really see these very often in game, though, because the effect is so low key and so brief.

I don't agree with you that much Keaka that CH's don't make much money. okay yes, being a Master CH alone is useless and you will stay poor until the rest of your days. That's why combining CH and any Marksman profession is what brings in the cash! Why? Because it allows you to use high level creatures to tank during hunts and you, as a marksman, you can just sit far away from all the action and just shoot at the creatures while your pet takes the beating.
Yes ever since Doctor buffs, there's not much need for pets, but when you can't find a doctor (or you're someone who's against Doctors charging insane prices and becoming instant millionaires) pets come in real handy!
So you're basically saying the way for a CH to make money is through hunting. There are scouts and rangers and bounty hunters that also do that for cash as it is. You'd think the money making would be in selling pets or training pets...or anything to do with what a CH does for that matter.

Even then the moneymaking ability is coming from the Rifleman aspect, not the pet aspect. Take the pet away and get buffs and you have the exact same result.
My point exactly. Well put. /kowtow
