This has been around since the damage reduction went in. What you are hearing people complain about is there is not damage reduction on the damage they take but the damage they deal is reduced. So, TK with 1000 damage hits me for 250 but hits the pet for 1000.

Well if the experiment that person in another thread did with pets is true, they broke pvp pet damage in the wookie life day patch. sounds like they do full damage now.....

Well 6 months ago they did full damage and so do droids which makes sense as they do less damage anyway. If you fight a rancor in the wild or a rancor pet its should be the same dmg. So unless there was a dmg nerf in the last 5-6 months then nothing has changed. There were even posts back then confirming this so its a fact as thats how I found out about it in the first place. Everyone cofirmed it was indeed true.

Soooo....was there a nerf to the dmg is last 6 months? I took a break from the game for 4 months.

pets suffer the 75% damage reduction when attacking but take full damage when attacked

And one thing many ppl don't realize, against unbuffed opponents, pets are actually really good because the other person can't use specials or else kill himself.

Well after today it hardly matters, i dueled a buffed person with only pets and his HAM actually, dare i say it, MOVED!! against an unarmored buffed person, they nearly incapped him. Thats a whole load more than they did before lemme tell ya!

I actually have to call my pets off before they DB unbuffed players!! Its great fun!!! Espically since no one thinks they need buffs or armor to beat them..............

And with the pets actually being buffed themselves they can take on unarmored buffed players, i always see a couple pvper TKAM wandering around with no armor on. One of these days im gonna give them the shock of their lives with this
