I did the old grind, camped in the geo cave enterence and masterd in about 25-30 hours. Now it seems as though I can get no xp. any help? plz? /gets and knees and begs like a Jedi to a BH not to kill him

You can still do rancors; just switch to a DRX6 Carbine or the ol' scatter pistol; both do acid damage which tears rancors up.

I've taken to Voritor Hunters. I use a Lv. 18 Mottled Wrix on them, and get 980 xp per kill....can't remember how many there usually are in a lair. For some reason, pets that are lower or higher than Lv. 18 for me don't give as much xp.

When I did my last burst of CH training on creatures I noted down what each pet gave me so I could find the best thing to kill for my CL

Another Level 18 Mottled Wrix fan

The 2nd time I mastered Creature Handler (my current CH char) - was a few months before NPC specials came back in.

I remember trying the Narglatch cave (love their look, my favourite cat types), various mobs on dant (inc those lovely xp Slinkings) and mobs on Dathomir.

Various Nightsisters was what I mastered Creature Handler on (got between 1-2k on most) by sending in Malachi (as I named him) near the end of the Nightsister's life that was in question.

It was a fun time and not a grind for me as I was enjoying levelling swordsman at the same time too.

This is not entirely true. As has been dicovered in another port the xp has been changed.

For example on Pickets on Dant I get the same xp using a lvl 11 creature as I do using a lvl 22. But if I use a higher pet it goes down and if I used a lower pet is ALSO goes down.

I can't explain it but it is a fact that others have confirmed.

Level 19 natural Mamien vs Enraged Rancors = about 1500xp per kill

Or at least it was when I re-mastered a couple of months ago.

I've been doing rancor with my lvl 10 BE razor cat, gives 1k xp. BUT, here is a thought.... You find a few people (relatively new) take pet(s) out, and have them follow and guard the person. And there you go As long as they take care of the pets, you got instant xp. I'm not sure if it works, but I'm going to try it as soon as I get high enough in CH. And also, while they are using your pets, you can go and grind whatever you feel like Plz tell me if this does work for you.
