hello fellow CH'ers
Here's the story -
I ran in to a guy who, sad to say, was dropping CH. He wanted to sell me a his Kimogila. I felt bad for the guy as I didn't want him to search around forever to find a buyer and then get disappointed in not being able to sell it for very much so I bought it from him, ya know ,brighten the guys day a bit and all that.
Well I went to my house and the first strange thing i notticed was it doesn't have any pet stats that i've ever seen before, it's got HAM and regen numbers and no pet level. When I attempted to tame it, I get am message that I don't have the proper skill( even thoguh I am a MCh wearing +17 taming for vis and wild creature hat, pants,shirt) So I guess that it's a pre-nerf, or post nerf bugged BE pet with too high a CL.
My question is, I've never had to use the pet trade in progam for any of my pets, and the FAQ warns that pet trade in is only for non-CH use. I thought I read some where back in the day that CH'ers with pets too high a level could also use the pet trade in program. So what do you guys think, a bugged lost cause pet or a pet that can be useable somehow. Honestley I feel like a noob asking this but in all my time as a CH ( since like 2 or 3rd month after launch) I've never had a problem like this. So, what do you guys think, suggest?

sounfds like a pre be revamp deed and if thers no cl im afriad that probaly means its unusuable(and most likly has bnee used as a decoraiton or something as the only ones ive ever seenliek this are decoirations in houses

Yeah, it does sound like it's potentially a pre-BE Revamp pet or some similar anomaly. The pet trade-in program only works for non-CHs, though (you'll get an error message if you try it and have Novice CH or above). I believeit's also only designed to handle pets CL 11-15. This was to allow non-CHs to keep their companions when the non-CH calling limit was lowered from CL 15 to CL 10 last year.

I was afraid that may be the case. You would think however any item that can no longer be used would be deleted from the systyem. although that's proably not possible. I can see how players would get angry buying goods that have been unuseable for months but there is no way to tell that that item can never be used.

well..if it has great stats, see if a BE can resample it and perhap sgive the new creation a level??
