Was doing the phase 4 village quest and figured what better time to buff my pet.

Asked the doctor and he said it doesn't work? Have I missed something and this been nerfed or was the doctor afraid of spiders?

one of my guildees buffed his rancor toinght..so it does work..mabey he just didn't want to buff a pet

I was there (at the village) on saturday to do phase 4, and was able to get my pet buffed there. i assume either the doc was incorrect in his knowledge, or just didn't want to 'waste' a 4-set of buffs.

I would like to think "Drider" (11k/8k/8k ar1 60 kin 40 energy merek, stats without buffs) was very helpful to others, as I directed him around to grab aggro away from ranged users. Great XP there also. Though a couple of thugs at once on the pet got me a little worried about his mind for a while (until I got aggro to cease and was able to do some tricks). The CMs were easily able to keep up on healing the health and action.

Thanks, that's a relief, though would've been nice if the doctor would've tried to help out the group by buffing the pet.

A lot of docs just don't feel the need to "waste" buffs on pets. I buff pets if people ask me when I play on Tarquinas.

During Phase 4 now in the village, i always ask doctors to give my screecher a "crappy" buff .... they always do it for free, as they understand the value of this critter
