Could I please feed my creatures the raw meat I harvest from other creatures? Do I really have to make my pet a crispic or protien wafer?? Why the heck is he so finicky??

Yes, it makes perfect sense!
Why would my carnivore pet eat a bofa treat, but can't eat raw meat that i just harvested from a herbivore... That's just not right.

Keo dont let the people here get to you.

As far as meat I think its stupid too. I mean sure you shouldnt be able to feed it to a herbavore but no reason to not let us use it on carnavores or omnivores. I wonder if it has to do with the fact thats its considered a resource.

Another thing your not thinking about it interdependence between classes. By only allowing cooked food to be feed to pets, that makes CHs rely on Chefs for our food.

every CH has forage, so interdependacy isn't an issue.

Um oh um nope. Not all CH have forage. Do most people here even play CH profession? Cause seems I see more and more statements that are just not true about CHs. Even simple fact of what skills are required to get a CH and what they give you.

Heads-up on a change...

...unfortunately, it is probably one you won't like.

There are currently two tamable creatures that are unbalanced due to an abnormally high armor rating. The Gurreck & Giant Sand Beetle are going to have their armor changed from Medium to Light.

We're going to have to go through the armor ratings for all creatures, particularly tamable ones, in the near future, to catch any other glitches like this one.

My bad, that comes with survival 1, I thought it was under the hunting line which you have to have to become a CH.

Yeah, I didn't think about the class interpendance.. though as a CH I do expect to have all the skills neccassary to care for my pet.

That being said, even if I had to buy the meat from someone else, I still think I should be able to feed my sludge panther fresh meat instead of making a bofa treat.

I really like the idea of the carnivours for meat, herbivours for vegitable type stuff.. though with how easy it is to harvest meat that would be a pretty big advantage.. then again I guess it makes sense too., though it could then lead to questions like.. How come I can't just tell my pet to graze..

I do apologize to Cirith, while I found your post un-helpful and without thought, I should not of snapped.

Your an idiot.

I know about forage.. thats not what this post is about.

This post clearly states that I would like to feed my pet the meat I pull in from a creature harvest.

It doesn't make since that I have all this Meat in my inventory but I can't give it to my pet for food. Instead I have to make some silly SWG dish first.

It makes sense to me that a wild creature could eat raw meat.

If you can't post something constructive, dont' bother the rest of us.

I think this would be interesting if they make the food-stuffs it consumes dependent upon the pet type. Herbivores need foraged plant items, while carnivores need meat.

When the new unlocking system goes live, let us be able to find out what our Silent profession was by maybe using a Holo.
