I think that Giant Peko Peko was waiting outside the BEAST guild hall wanting to be mounted and take this master ch high up into the clouds to explore the galaxy.

Giant pekos used to be tamable. Dunno why they arent any more. As for mounting them, would be kinda cool, but where exactly would ya sit? Things neck is huge!

It was never stated why certain creatures were changed to be untamable in any place that I saw. It just sort of happened, with no particular rhyme or reason (why would a plains hunter be changed from tamable to untamable, for example? doesn't make sense).

I have been a MCH since late August right after the game came out. Somewhere along the line I decided to make it a priority to collect rare and "extinct" pets as I was hearing that numerous pets were gonna be made unavailable to tame in the future. I, in fact, DO have a giant peko peko in my datapad. Not necessarily my favorite pet, but I do enjoy the fact that I have a pet that is not availble anymore in the game normally.

As far as mounting Giant Peko Peko's? It would be pretty cool, and I wouldnt loose a bit of sleep over them becoming a "commonplace" pet as long as mounting them and riding them would be "an only MCH deal" so as to avoid the "dabblers". I don't believe that a "flying pet" of any significance in Level should be something that a low level CH should be able to ride.

Since MCH has been nerfed so hard for so long now, having rare and/or extinct pets is one of the few joys I have left on my MCH. I enjoy very much pulling one or two occasionally and standing around with them in Theed just to see the reactions. It gets pretty funny at times.

My currently list is as follows:

King AND Queen Merek Harvestor

Frenzied Graul

Giant Peko Peko

Kliknik Queen

Blood Seeker Mite Queen

and a Giant Angler (just rare, not extinct)

None of these pets are just a B.E.'d pet that I renamed. All but one still have the entire original name on them, including the "(baby)" tag that we as CH's are unable to reproduce while naming pets.

About the only pet I am still interested in getting is a baby bull rancor, but working on my jedi has limited my time to go out and search for one. If someone on the Chilastra server has one and is willing to possibly sell, please contact me in game and maybe we can work something out.
