Thread: How Many GPS per Server and How Many Plains Hunters Left (survey)

First off, I am still working on my GPS. Been prowling my WPs at least 3 days a week since July. Have found 19 full spawns (4 animal total) and 5 assorted less then 4 animal spawns. No babies at all, just adults.
But my guildies have asked me serveral times, how many players have GPS's.
Also, I have been interested in getting a Plains Hunter for my Big Cat collection for about 6 months and have alerted my guildies to keep their ears open. But I have been asked, how many Plains Hunters are left? I thaught, that's a geat question.
So Please Shout Out if you have either, and which server you are on.

Since the spawn increase on planets, I and a friend have done 24 GPS spawns in just the past few weeks. Usually can find 2 per night, but we have had 4 spawns per night and even once at 6. Only 2 of the 24 spawned 3 instead of 4 adults.
I believe there was one person who tamed 2 in one night on my server (they posted about it here), but I've never met them in game and I don't know of anyone else on my server with one.
As for plains hunters, I don't hunt for them but I thought they no longer spawned babies.

Plains hunters havent spawned babies in over a year. They are an "Extinct" species. The reason they were rendered extinct was that at the time, a novice CH could tame anything, even a rancor. Well, back in those days, not many people went or even could afford going to dath, so every CH went to naboo and went PH hunting, and got themselves a plains hunter or three. So you have novice CH's all over the place using CL 30 deathblowing critters. While I dont agree with the devs solution, I see why they did it. When I dropped CH a while back, I sold my PH to Zina Lore. Now that I have MCH back, I really wish I hadnt done that. 
As for GPS, two people in my guild have them, and it took them each about a week of hunting for a baby to get one (I hate them 
) Ive been asking ranger friends to help me look, and I'm even looking at picking up ranger myself, But the only rare I want is the GPS, as I already have 2 Swamp Stalkers (One albino!)

I farmed them, and then no more GPS the rest of the night, no matter how long I looked (And this was with a master ranger helping and waypoints from all known GPS sightings and tamings)

So the GPS spawns have increased, thaught so.
On the Plains Hunters, I know they are extinct, think it was back in Oct. 2004 when it happened. With all the players leaving, was wondering how many of the Plains Hunters are still around, either with their original owners, passed on or bought. So far I have only heard of about 7 still in existance, I hope there is alot more, but made post to see.
So if you still have one of the Plains Hunters, let us know
The Plains Hunter to me is interesting, once one of the most common pets, now it may almost be gone from the CH game

I have a Plains Hunter on Bria. One of my old guildies that left the game gave it to me because he couldn't control it when he was dropping CH. Good thing he did, he pretty much disappeared without saying anything, had he kept CH and his cat it would probably be gone by now. He's my only extinct/rare aside from my Dalyrake Matriarch, which is just as good because I'm pretty sure no one else has one, at least not that I've heard.
Unfortunately, thats what happened with my good friend who left, he was a master CH back in the day and had a Kliknik Queen, a King Merek Harvester (I think, some kind of extinct Merek anyway), and some kind of extinct Bark Mite.
I've been wondering if there are any Spineflap Queens out there? They were tameable at one time I know, I've been after one for a while. I was one level away from being able to tame them when they put in the patch that made the "royal" creatures untameable

On Radiant I have tamed 5 GPS and know of 3 others who have tamed one for themselves.
I am only aware of 1 plains hunter
If it ever became available I would try to acquire it to preserve it but dont thinks that ever going to happen. The ch left the game

Great Plains Stalkers are lvl 51. I have one on Bria and after I got it, I vowed never to do that search again.
I was wrong As I was playing around with my friend's CH on Tarquinas, I got this bright idea to do the search for a GPS. I have to say, I saw many spawns on Tarquinas, no babies though. This was also after the spawn increase so that might have had something to do with it. I haven't tried with my CH on Bria again and do not have the lvl on Radiant yet.

I've been searching for a GPS for months ....
Last fridaynight i went on another GPS trip, and the whole are was empty ..... only a few hours later one of our BEAST's finds a baby ...
...But he is the only one on Farstar i know of with a GPS .... never seen a plains hunter, or even any rare or extinct pet ..... people on farstar don't seem to care much about that .... not even the MCH's ..... i'm almost the only one hunting for rares ...

I know of 3 Plains Hunters on Intrepid. Myself, being an owner of one. As for GSPs, a guildie just tamed one last week, which is the first I've heard of any tamed ones on the server.

I have a GPS and 2 Plains Hunters on Naritus. i know of one other person that has a GPS and someone else that has a plains hunter.
