I'm wonderingwhat good pets are about lvl 45. Not speaking of bio pets here, just the natural animals.
Anyone has any insight?

Gaping Spider Hunter - level 44 - hard, 2 specials + ranged.

Toxic Merek Battlelord aint too shabby either, but Gaping Spider Recluse is your best bet.

I agree with the previous answers, all are excellent suggestions. I definitely love Lethal, my gaping spider recluse.

/agree about the TMB...great pet....
if you want something to keep up with your landspeeder - try a prowling gurreck - no armour, but only vuln to cold and 65% kinetic and energy resists to boot...

oh, and if you like spiders, but dont like the 'big ulgly mouth thing' thats going on with gaping spiders, an arachne warrior (strong posion, 10k ham, AR1) is a nice pet....they look so much more authentic as spiders than gaping ones do...
