Okay, everytime I try and name my pet, it adds the name I'm trying to give it to the command I am trying to teach it. What am I doing wrong? Can I rename a pet that has already been named something else? Thanks.

thats how it works. For ease of use, use the less used commands like wedge, clear patrol points, get patrol points one other useless command. That way you dont have to type /tellpet fido attack all the time.

Once you have named the pet (it should change the name above its head after 4 separate commands with the same word at the start) you can then redo those commands as you wish.
One thing to remember is that the pet name goes through the same rules as naming a character, so no numbers or "dodgy" names.
