Thread: Tamed CuPa's???
Ok, had a buddy (non-ch) turn in the cl 11 cu pa to the creature handler trainer, and he got back a mount trained cl 10 Kwi.
No saddle, but he can radial up a mount option. This has happened with 6 cu pa that were tamed from the wild. Anyone have any ideas on what the devil is going on with Cu Pa on Tarquinas?
The CH trade-in system is really more of a temporary fix forplayers who lost control of their pets when the non-CH threshold was lowered from CL 15 to CL 10 during last year's rebalance. From my observations it gives you the closest CL 10 or below match it can, but not all body types have a match that low. Cu pas and banthas, for example, only go as low as CL 11. So a kwi is the closest wild non-CH creature it can findfor the cu pa body type.
In other words, you can't use this to create things that don't exist in the wild. If you give it a cu pa or bantha, you won't get a non-CH cu pa or bantha back.

So a CuPa, tamed from the wild, will NEVER be able to be used by a non-ch, is this what was intended.........??
Correct. The Devswould have tocreate a new type of wild cu pa that's CL 10 or less. A sort of "lesser cu pa" in the same style as the lesser dewback and lesser plains bol. I asked for wild non-CH cu pas and banthas to be added while cu pa/bantha mounts were still in Test. Unfortunately non-CHs can only use the BE ones at the moment.
