i in now way am flaming nch's in fact i welcome them to the profession, and help where i can. however as of late i seem to be gettin a large amout of tells from nch's who seem to think i can somehow get them chxp..the approach me either with tells or at a sp, and plead how they need xp soooo bad and i have to help them (one was a mcarb!!!)..i was under the impression that ch pointsd would be split among the group, but even if that isn't the case, just get out and do missions.... i don't understand how having an mch there is going to expediate the process..all the time spent pleading for help grinding points could well have filled another box

back whin i was working the ch tree, i enjoyed going out alone, working with my pets..i sometimes used them in hunting groups, with other players, but always got more xp alone..

i took one out the other day on dath..told him i was searching for a bull rancor..his reponse was "can you tame me one too?"..i explained how rare they were and offered a rancor instead..np..i just took him on a couple missions, since bulls don't seem to spawn from those anyhow..prior to goinf i askd what type of combat he would use, explained how to work the lair, kill the guards , then tap..ect..

so i pulled a bull mission, it had no bulls, 2 rancs and a youth..we killed the first wave, yet i think he only used his pet on one of the 3, then 2 baby rancors and a youth spawned..i told him we would get the youth and i would get him a baby..while i was conceal shooting the youth he decides to hit the lair..aggroing both babies and killing them...

the best way to learn is to get out there on your own and assess what you experienced later..i am happy to offer any advice i can...but do you see why i want to hunt bulls alone?

point is he got less points because he kept not using his kwi or whetever it was..despite my instructions to do so..

as you go out alone it necessitates learning, since no one can bail you out...worked for me, will work for you too!

Yea there are alot of people picking up CH for higher payouts lately that really have no business owning a pet. They just caint seem to grasp the concept of the profession.

Anyone knows how mission difficulty is calculated ?

I was under the impression that you can only get better mission by grouping with a level 70 critter (or 2) ..... so they all would need to become master CH .... i can't imagine those Missions Grinders you are talking about, are willing to spend so many SP on a useless "combat" profession ....

Even a lvl 10 pet will help increase mission payouts.
