Finally made 4444 last night, but I'm having a hard time getting apprentice xp to train Master . Anyone have any bright ideas for getting it? I've tried hanging around Coronet and yelling myself hoarse, but I'm only up to 490.

Barking the same spam over and over again is not only very irritating for other people ( plus if you do it too much it's against the EULA and you can be reported to a CSR) but it's also totally counter productive to what your trying to do. Your best solution is to actually hang around Theed or Coronet spaceport and simply be on the look out for people who look like they'll need training. Newbies are easy to spot so approach them and ask if there's anything they want to learn, if you see someone else also wanting apprentice exp then go have a yap with them about using some spare exp for skills you don't need to learn and unlearn certain skills again and again until that spare exp is used up, do this in exchange for them doing the same with you so you both benefit.

In the end though people shouldn't really struggle for appexp unless they're spending far too much time soloing the game instead of socializing and going hunting in groups.

put on you largest title and make yourself searchable and sit in front of coronet or some other high traffic starport, theed is another one. and pay attention to what people are saying around you.

last nite i topped off my apprentice AP for the 3rd time. the last three trainings came from people asking to get trained while standing in front of spammers spamming they were training people in those same skills. they were so busy spamming they werent paying attention. turn your chat bubbles on so you can easier see who is talking. a non-elite master title will gather more tells asking to be trained than a elite level4 title from folks doing searches. i have to run around with no title, i get so many tells asking for rifle training.

keys: pay attention to who is talking, make your character serchable, position yourself at a time of day and location where lots of folks are, wear an appropriate title(not going to find a lot of requests wearing master entertainer title in front of the starport), spend less time spamming and more timing listening.

For some reason the spamming irritates me and I will go out of my way to find someone who is NOT spamming and ask to be trained by them or I will actually pay a NPC trainer to do it. If I want to be trained I will go to the local cantina (in a populated city) and ask if anyone needs AP XP. But I am always nice about it. I do not demand to be trained. And I ask where they are so I can go to them.

I had my MCH title on once and I got a /tell from someone asking me if I could train em. I /tell back that sure, no prob. They then /tell that they will be in the cantina. No please from em, no "where can I meet you", just "will be in cantina". I could care less about the AP XP. I tell back that they ought to use please next time and it might go over better. Think I pissed em off cause a couple minutes latter they told me not to bother.

get a friend with enough skill points to get hunting 4, or a friend with hunting 4. Grab your pets and head to Dathomir. Grab kamurith defiler missions from the term. Have your friend harvest the kams until he hits 4 and caps. Have him surrender hunting 4 and reteach. Rinse. Repeat. The quiet, non-irritating way to max on apprentice xp and make 10K credits per mission.

the reteaching is a good trick--the lower medic and scout skills can often be retaught to a volunteer several times if you can find someone with the extra few skill points to do it.
