Weapons have a damage range listed on them.... say (100 - 190) , but when you factor in specials, the damge dealt goes up drastically due to the damage multiplier and armor piercing rating.

Is it the same way with pets? Say you have a pet with damage range (100 - 250) does that mean 250 is the max damage possible? If the pet has a special attack.....say cripling strike, does that multiply the damage and if so how much?

What's the maximum damage that your best pet has ever dealt in both PvE and PvP. Please list as accurately as possible, the type of pet, and the special attack that was used to deal that damage.

as far as i know, and have observed, there are no additional damage points for specials...that's why most ch's will tell you ch(on it's own)is a useless combat profession....i frequently use a be cat for grinding rancors, and it hits for anywhere between 500 and 600 damage points..it'smax is 600...i'm mrifle as well so my goal is to have the pet tank, and kill the target asap with my rifle..pets are very effective for this..to fight on thier own, rather useless....a plauge strike will cause a lot of damage to a target..but like i said i kill the tatrget before the strike could take effect..

perhaps this will be addressed in the cu...

Yup hossp is right pet damage has NO multipliers and as far as accuracy goes. Were still trying to figure that out. I think it might have something withthe base to hit stat like it does on weapons but im not exactly sure what that stat does for pets. If anyone else knows please tell me.
EDIT: and just so you know ALL pets have a max AP of ZERO! (grumbles something bad about the devs)

the bast to hit is a percentage of hits per attack...say you have a gps with .5 bth and 2.0 attack speed..it will hit once in two attacks, or once every 4 secs...further solidifying a max hit of 500 every 4 seconds is rather useless, compared to 6k damage in the same period with a strafe shot 2....the best tameable bth i believe is the bull rancor at .6..i have a be cat with .68

There is a thread on the BE boards right now testing the to-hit stat. It appears from their data, that it in fact does not affect the % chance for the pet to hit. Odd, huh? Thats always what I thought it was as well. Anyway, either its broken, or it does something completely different. I wouldn't be surprised if it is broken though.

If that's the case than I think your pet does have a damage bonus or it's damage isn't affected by armor/resistances.
