boy are these guys hard to find . last night a friend and i decided to spend a few more hours looking for one of these great beasts. with both of us buffed we started destroying every lair around Lord Nyax poi. i knew are chances werent good since i had been out here many times before and not even seen an adult. my friend and i split up so i called Talyn, my wasteland cupa mount, and Haldir, my be gurreck, and started rippin everything to shreds. after finishing off a carrion spot lair we crested a hill and there was a magnificentadult Great Plains Stalker! i couldnt believe it! i proceeded to spam my friend that i see one and after he was done laughing he came over to help with the kill.first spawn...no baby...second spawn...no baby...thrid spawn...no baby....fourth spawn......no baby.... we continued to search until we had to log for the night but found no other spawn. although i didnt find a baby that has to be the most fun ive ever had and the most excited ivebeen in this game. just seeing an adult finally gives me hope that one day ill find the baby i so desperatly want hope all you enjoyed my hunting story - tune in for the exciting conclusion of this saga...hehe

your on the right track..some are lucky enough to get a baby on their first few spawns..it took me 46 hehe, but the average seems to be 15-20...good luck on the hunt..it's definately rewarding when that baby finally pops up

wow, nice story but from my understanding GPS DO NOT SPAWN FROM A LAIR. so maybe you were just clearing the ground a little to give room for a GPS? but teh best way to search for em is to find an adult spawn, and do what you did, just keep attacking and killing and camping the spawn till you get your trophy heh i was GIVEN a GPS by an old friend leaving the game, so its not as rewarding but it still feels cool to have one

ya i was clearing the area for a GPS to spawn there were no adult spawn in the area so the only way to get one to even attempt to spawn is to start clearin junk lairs

Tonight I went about 1700m south of Dearic...sunrunner galaxie and found GSPs sitting around without a lair...I kept killing them until a baby spawned...i tamed it.

Then I decided I wanted another to give to someone so I rode around about 1000m more and found a dead log and it had GSPs around it. I again killed all the adults and on the final spawn from teh log a baby popped out. I got it too. So they do come in lairs as well as just running loose.

Hellian-dbf youre talking about a greater sludge panther not a great plains stalker. stalkers spawn on corellia and only on random spawns. congrats on the panthers though

I'm excessively lucky then. The first spawn I found I managed to tame a GPS baby.

I had a harder time with mantigrue screechers, though it only took 2 lairs to find a baby. I haven't been able to find another one since then and 25 lairs later.

Bull rancor I've just about given up on, after several hundred lairs and nothing other than the occasional boring rancor or gnarled rancor baby.

If you are looking for a Greater Sludge Panther ... try walking a 1500m radius around Dearic (Talus)and focus along the various waterways. I caught dozens of them in this area, and have3 NEVER seen a baby anywhere on Corellia.

If you are looking for your Global Postitioning System look for three rectangles around the bottom of a circular display that shows various colored dots and is marked with the four points of a compass rose. You will notice that each of these rectangles has a number in it and that these numbers gradually change when you move. This serves the general function of a GPS by providing X, Z, and Y coordinates (in that order) relative to the center of the planetary map (which you can view by pressing CTRL+V).

I hope this helps, but if you are still having a hard time, you may want to reference page page 44 of the Star Wars Galaxies Empire Divided Adventure Manual which you received when you purchased your copy of the game.

I hope this helps

first plz read my post correctly. was looking for a Great Plains Stalker not a greater sludge panther. i can find pathers with my eyes closed...

Searched corellia yesterday for 7 hours with only one sighting and no baby. my search coninues...

And do you guys think i should keep ranger 0/0/3/0? it doesnt seen to be helping much to track these guys. only reason i took the time to get it and so far it seems a waste of skill points
