First Bug

Ok so I was out grinding and having to constantly heal my low level oet when a thought occured to me.......DOH I can make a macro that wil target my pet automatically then heal him! So I set up the following macro

/target Jinx;

/pause 0.1;

/healdamage;

when I tried it it didnt work so I went back and double checked my spelling then tried just typing /targer Jinx in chat to see if I could do it that way and of course it didnt work!!! I can target my speeder so why caint I /target my pet?

Second Bug

Running low on stims I decide to take cover and use conceal shot to weaken mobs then send my pet in when they are almost dead. I take cover and start laying into mobs then I /tellpet my pet and it dosent work. No pet feedback or anything so then I try speaking the commands and it works. So why caint I use /tellpet while under cover?

you can't target pets with command line forsome reason and /tellpet has always been buggy

I've found that to target pets in a macro requires adding the parentheses around the name:

so try modifying your macro to:

/target (Jinx); /pause 0.1; /healdamage

If you group with your pet, you could also use the "group target" /ui commands, although I'm not sure what those are off-hand. That would at least make the macro a bit more flexible, instead of only working for that one pet.

/tellpet is a bit wonky if you use one or two letter commands. Try training Jinx to respond to "attack" rather than "a", and see if that takes care of your issue. Although it is possible that taking cover might treat tellpet differently.

I always use full letter commands when training pets so I can macro them with /tellpet. And thanks for the () tip ill try that in my macro next time I log on.
