After the great nerf of '03 (I believe it was towards the end of '03) I dropped CH. Not because it wasn't "uber" anymore, but because I felt like the board whiners had won the day.
I stayed away from it for a long time, but always had an affection for it. It was helpful to have creatures in battle because it made me feel like I wasn't soloing when in fact I was. They were fun to train, fun to use in battle, fun to travel on. I always thought I'd go back and master it after having gotten so close previously.
Now that day will never come and I just don't understand why.....
