Thread: A saddle for you, and a saddle for you . . . .

Just for fun, lets make another list of animals that we'd like to toss a saddle on. The rules are, the animal frame model MUST be currently mountable in the game; no flyers or cats or rontos orfambaa and the like. So for example, take the following:
Since cu pas are currently mountable, I'd like to be able to put a saddle on kwis and blurggs. My new favorite, I can assure you, would be a bageraset, which is the same model as the humbaba/falumpaset/brackaset.
I'm not 100% sure, because the frame looks MOSTLY right but the head/neck angle is different, but grondas and thunes may be the same frame as banthas, so . . . .
From this list, we'd have something to present that's really pretty doable, since the art is there, the mechanics are there, and all it would really be doing is authorizing a different skin to take the saddle. I think.

Hmm... given those constraints, I'd say it's a close race between Blurrg and Gronda. You'd have to speed the Gronda up, though, or it would be painfully slow for travel.

Well, they sped up bantha for travel, so I doubt that would be a problem. 
What's that nuts-looking walrus-bird? Pugorris or something? Those would be cool.

has anyone ever seen a kliknik defender or a form of kliknik? whenever i have it out everyone around me goes 'why cant you mount that it has a mount groove built in' and that, well, would be coolness

how about "carriage" or even something that coming out from the movie Benhur like a charriot . For being a ch/swordman, I think it's gonna be extra cool for riding a charriot and swinging my blade to kill critters

I'd like to toss a saddle on my Thune Grassland Guardian (Bantha frame) Giant Mawgax (Kaadu Frame)Savage Guf Drolg (Dew frame) Craggy Bolma (Dew frame) or R.Kwi Pack Leader (Cupa Frame).
Speaking of speeding up mounts. When I was a novice CH, I remember getting chased by angry Dewbacks who were catching and incapping me while I burst run. What happened to their speed? My dew definitely does not run as fast as burst run even at gallop.

My fantasy is to mount a Rancor or Kimogila, but yeah yeah I know.. they don't have the same frame as any current mount
What about Pikets? I could see riding one of those.
I have a BE'd Bolma I wish was mountable

And Mawgax, lol, mounted, would be basically a Chocoboco

Nahh. Mawgax, for some reason, have hooves and don't have feathers... Or wings... And aren't yellow. Hell Carrion Spats would be just as close to a Chocobo, they have @ss feathers. 
Besides, Giant Mawgax are huge, and riding huge pets is cool

I'm going to have to second the Klikniks. When I heard mounts were being added to the game I spent an evening taming a few (queen kliknik, queen kliknik harvesters). Now I have some nice extincts to show for it, but they're not mountable. The standard klikniks and a few other variants are still tameable though, and they already have a built-in saddle. I'd definitely like to ride around on one these.
