Thread: New to CH need advise on taming aggressive beast.

First of all, you have to have skill in training aggressive creatures. If you have no skill in it, you won't be able to tame one. You gain vicious creature taming in your first tree of CH; read the boxes and you'll see the modifiers.
Once you can tame one, the way you do it is this: mask scent, hit peace (you should do that every time anyways), disarm your weapon (another good thing to always do) and sneak in good and slow. If they break your mask scent, DON'T RUN unless they actively aggro you; if you stay frozen, you'll often have a chance to mask scent again before they get mad that you're there. I've been able to do that in a herd of rancors, so yes, that's effective. Once you're close enough to the baby, start taming. If the baby happens to aggro on you, because you have peace on, the rest of the group won't come after you since you're not attacking. Run away until the baby stops chasing, and try again.
Aggro creatures are a bit harder to get, so expect to fail a lot. And good luck!

I am 3 2 0 3 in CH so I have a little skill in taming them. I just havent' tried it yet. How do you set peace? Is it a button u can place in your hotbar?

Yep, you'll find it right in your combat keys. Just drag it on up there.

I have never tried to tame a aggressive mob yet and was wondering whats best way to do this? Will everything not aggro me? I know to use mask scent but I am only 4 0 4 2 in scout and am not going to go higher in it. Just wondering what the best method to use was?
