Thread: Slow going... so very slow...

Greetings fellow Tamers!
I come before you with a problem. I'm moving through the CH trees with about as much speed as a snail stuck in tar.
Every morning I get buffed, go to Dantooine, pull out my lvl 16 tuskcat female and sic her on Quenkers and Savage quenkers. This nets me around 330-360 exp per kill. I've been working on Creature Obedience II for the past FIVE Days though and I'm still only 2/3's of the way there.
Can anyone recommend me a way I can gain CH exp faster? It just doesn't seem right to me that I can go to Dantooine and gain one or even TWO branches of the pistoleer tree a day and make it only half way through a level II branch of the CH tree.
Any recommendations for good exp, bearing in mind that I am only a 3/2/1/2 pistoleer, and my strongest pet is a Mottled Wrix at the moment that's only level 18 with 4.5k HAM.

Get some more pets and go to Tusken Fort. If a doc is there ask them to buff your pet. When that pet's hame gets low switch pets. The Warlords were giving my 10 (25) Grand Wrix around 1200XP/kill. Remeber all you need is 1 hit to get the Creature xp so if you are in a group go around hitting everything one time but stay in the area in order to receive the XP when the Tusken dies.

The only thing I can suggest is find someone with a AT-ST and group with them and do missions for 30k. At every stop sick your lowest level pet on whatever you are fighting and let them hit a few times then cycle to the next mob and let them do some damage to that one. I believe I was getting about 700 CH exp for every mob killed with my level 18 angler doing this.

When I'm on the hunt on Dantooine, I only go after Savage Quenkers, and I'm currently using Targ, my Dessert Boar, as of last night, he was on his 18th cycle I think. I was getting 400 for ever savage quenker I was hitting. Then again, my skills are probably honing faster than yours do to the fact that I am able to tame a Savage Quenker hatchling, so I gain more expertise by also catching and releasing as well.

I mastered last night.
Took me months of dabbling (sat at 8-9 boxes of skill for about 6 mos)... then I decided I really liked it and wanted to master in it. I seriously like finding babies to tame! So I spent the last couple weeks hunting and having fun on Dath with friends.... when it came down to it, I was 87k away from master... and anxious.
2 words... Geonosian Cave.
Me and Izzy, my CL 22 lizard that loves to spit on stuff, a fresh set of buffs, a shuttle ticket to Yavin and it was over in almost less time than it took to write this reply. Okay, not really that fast, but close!

Heaven forbid you can't level through a profession in a week or less, huh? *sighs* I remember when this game actually took work and made you feel like you achieved something.

Thanks for all the helpful replies, on an Tyldak, as for your comment, do not EVER tell me about time it takes to grind through profs, I was doing rifleman back when we couldn't even take down a lone Tusken without help.
I'm not wanting to breeze through CH in a week, half the fun of a profession is gaining skills in it, I just wanted a way to actually feel like I was making some sort of progress when I worked on CH, and with what I've been doing I wasn't feeling that progressive feel, I was feeling bored senseless.
Again to those who gave useful info, I thank you for taking the time to help me.

Just don't forget that taming and releasing is the fastest experience. Once you are through the first level and half the second level each tame can mean almost 1k exp. By the third tree it is well over 1k per tame. Taming can be a bit boring if you are just finding durni or paralops. The fun comes in when you are in the middle of a bunch of diseased vrelts or wrix taming that baby away from mommy as she growls or knowing her bite can infect you badly 
. Then there is my graul mauler who agroed the whole nest on me, burst run ......, avoid other lairs, find baby, and try again.

Way to flame dude. In a week or less? Depends how many hours you put into it. If someone plays all day and can do it in a week, then whats wrong with that? It took me around 2 months to get MCH personally.
