Are these rare at all, I have an extra and was wonderin' if it was worth to keep a 2nd or just give away?

nah, they're not too tough to find. on the uncommon list really.

You can get missions for recluses if you can get in the 16k price range. Once you find a spawn, they will almost always produce a baby or two.
I do think they are some of the best natural tames out there, however, and have two in my pad at the moment. I have had up to four at any given point.
