I canceled my account I think about 3-4 months after it launched. Actually I cant quite remember, it was shortly after they introduced the CL restriction thing. I had just made Master CH at the time and was having fun with my 3 pets, then that patch hit and I just got a little PO'd I guess.
Anyway, I log in tonight and damn if I didnt forget everything lol. I think I stood still right where I logged in for like a half hour at least. Trying desperately to remember the controls/menus/commands and the such. I feel like a noob again. I see everyone speeding along on bikes, and Im walking around lol. I read we can ride mounts now? Guess Ill have to go find and train me one. Is there a "best" mount to go after?
Ive also learned that one of my pets is extinct? Frenzied Graul? Was it deemed too powerful or something? Gonna have togo research some more and find out if any of my other pets are extinct before I get rid of any.
Are Creature Handlers stilllooked down on? I remember for awhile it seemed like everybody was a CH, or at least part one. Always gotnegative comments. That part stopped when I reachedMaster though.
Also, I was training Swordsman before I quit. Is Swordsman still something that goes together with CH pretty well? I was thinking oftrying my hands at going for Master Bio-Engineer. Though being away as long as I have, Ill probly get a headache trying. Seems like they can make somepretty damn good pets thougheh?
Anyway, I suppose Im ramblingverybad at this point lol. As a whole, it seems like SWGhas improved alot. Not so sure about CHs yet, and Im still kind of pissed at that change that took placelong ago. Ill try toadapt though. Off to go research and read, soI dont look like some Newbie Ebay'd MasterCH hehe.

Ch absolutely sucks now. If you think the nerf you experienced was bad, you should have been here for the December nerf. I advise you to master Swordsman and Rifleman if you want to have fun. I must stress that pets are worthless. Except for extinct models, pets are capped at 60% kinetic resists(bioengineered). You can wear sliced armor that is 90% kinetic resistant and you can heal yourself and have insane defenses.

Yeah, a lot of changes in what pets are currently available. your Frenzied Graul is, for all intents and purposes, extinct. Tivo posted a list somewhere of extinct pets you can search for,mightmake iteasier to figure out what you have that no longer spawns. CH'sare kinda rare now, since we got smacked with the nerf Mack truck...I only know one other on my server at the moment. I' m a fencer, and it works well with CH, so I presume swordsman will as well. As for mounts, if you're on Valcyn or Radiant send Tsiya a /tell and we'll hook you up with a ride.

Hey that would be great Tsiya. My character is named Tenzan on Radiant. Ill look you up. As far as CHs sucking. /shrug. I dont really know. Just reactivated, Ill have to give it time. I just like the whole CH concept. Its too bad that we were changed so drastically after release.
I figured Id try to take Master BE and make some pets I wanted, then drop it and go back to Mastering Swordsman. Or, if I enjoyed it enough, just stay Master CH/BE. Who knows though. Im still completely overwhelmed. I must of blocked SWG out of my mind or something cause Im having a hard time getting used to everything again lol. Doesnt help matters that my computer barely runs it. bah.
