what kind of creature is this? Is it hard to tame? What kind of HAM bar does it have? Is it effective against other creatures? I have a lot more questions but I'll wait until these are answered first. Thanks guys.

Im pretty sure it is a Sludge Panther. Check its HAM and stuff on a beastiary.

Looks like a sludge panther from Talus. The lesser ones are not worth taming, but the Greater variety is pretty decent.

It is a Greater Sludge Panther from Talus.
7000 HAM and 230-240 damage

Sludge panthers are awesome IMO. You can tame them as just a novice (as of now) and are just very nice pets to have. I have a pair of them I use. The first I tamed on the first try, the second took a few tries and a death (they are killers and run as fast as burst run). They grow at a decent speed.

My first tame ever was a GSP, and I plan on keeping him till the game takes him away. He grew to full in 4 days. He has saved my butt and gotten it mauled both ... but I like him.

On my second time killing him I got two Acklay bones, not to bad if you ask me.

looks to me like the leader of a new underground cult soon to have its own cave with uber loot and new items to buildthat require parts that arnt even in the game yet or ever will be
