What about having pet fights? Seriously it might give us something to do with our pets and give usan extra source of income.
I was thinking about having something like a 1k entree fee from every contestant to be totaled up and given to the winner at the end of the competition
I dont know if this has been tried before or not but its worth a shot and hey their could even be gambling on the side

Hmmmm........................Im going to talkt o my guild leader next time im online and see what kind of stuff we can get set up.
Heres what i purpose
First off Door Prizes im an architect so i think i could probably get a large house or 2 together for prizes and im sure some of the others in the guild would donate items as well
I was also thinking of having different classes one for BE pets and one for wild ones. Also a showcase of rares and a prize to whoever has the most. I am on the valcyn server and It would take some planning to make it great but it is doable.
Also how would you handel gambling on the fights? It would be an honor system but im sure we could find a trustworthy person or two to handle giving out the winnings.
An arena set up would also be cool i wonder what kind of structures i could make that would set up an enclosure large enough for large pets?

What about babies who haven't grown to their full level yet? Don't use them, or use them against a level it has obtained
Who can confirm the CL for you if you did go by that? Master Scout can do it.
And in the end, isn't it just a rock-paper-scissors kind of fight with a predetermined outcome based on what creatures were used? Do a degree I would guess it would be, but you can shout out special attack as well.

My guild hosted an event like this.
It was kind of a flop. Part of that was the fact that the guy who suggested and planned it was a no-show for the event. The other part of it was deciding and determining exactly what was a "fair" fight.
Do you go by CL? What about babies who haven't grown to their full level yet? Who can confirm the CL for you if you did go by that? And in the end, isn't it just a rock-paper-scissors kind of fight with a predetermined outcome based on what creatures were used?
CH is more lacking in tactical combat than most professions. We can give our "special" commands and if we cross our fingers and toes and make the magic macro it *might* attempt the special attack. Even then BE pets nearly automatically beat wild pets because of their superior stats and selectable abilities. I like the idea but I found it nearly impossible to play out. As the game exists now, pet vs. pet combat is 100% determined by their stats so there just wouldn't be any fun.

Hmmm I know of a CH guild on the valcyn server and i thik they would probably be into this sort of thing.
Anyone else on the valcyn server please send ydwow an e-mail or something next time ur online I want to see how many i can get before I start making plans and settingup for it.

it may be a paper scissor rock sort of fighting, but i think it would be a very good idea for gambling, sense you dont really know who's gonna win, but its not a bad idea at all. I would however only want a low lvl cl pet to fight, just incase a good pet gets DB by the other pet, reducing his vitality.

I actually have tried this idea, would have to go back and find the link on the intrepid server, but unfortuantly, it bombed out, cause honestly, there aren't enough of us anymore, well, enough of us that we could get the real pets out there.
I went looking for 16 MCHs, and couldn't find any, then I went looking fora6 CH that could use a level 40 pet or higher, couldn't find them. Honestly, I wouldn't go under level 40, cause then it gets to all the common pets, i would love to see someone with a leverl 60 squall going toe to toe with a leverl 60 Kimo.
