Hi there,

Can you get non-ch bantha mounts at all? The lowest lvl banthas Ive seen have been the dwarf ones at lvl 11 but I heard someone say you can get ones for non-ch mounts.

I've seen BE Banthaat level 5.

That level 11 Bantha may be useable for non creature handlers.

I gave a level 11 Cu pa to what I'm pretty sure was a non ch and she had no trouble using it.

Anyone else experience this?

im not sure if the ch trainers still make pets low lvl, but if the do, u can transfer a lvl 15 or under bantha to them. im not sure but u might be able to trade it. this is all theoretical though. good luck

Non ch's are only able to use pets up to level 10 , not even 11 would work . Also not sure if many of you know the trade in system for pets that non ch could exchange for lower level pet's is no longer active at all . I was able to check around and find out that they stoped that deal . The odd thing is thoe that the stuff about pet exchange is still listed in the holocron .

Are you sure about this? I was hoping to trade in my level 12 kaadu mount for a level 10 one if I ever dropped CH. Are you saying I should just go buy a level 10 BE one? I tried to test by trading in a pet but I got a "this system is only meant for non-ch" message which leads me to believe it is still active? I tried to get a non-ch friend to test it but silly me gave him a level 16 pet so it didn't work anyway!

While I'm here, can anyone list the mounts that we can tame in the wild that CAN be used as mounts by non-ch?

Wild banthas can't be used by non-CH as mounts. You've got to go to a BE to get a created critter that is under CL 10. The lowest level tamable wild bantha is the plain old bantha at CL 14.

I'm not sure what a bantha turns into if you put it through the trade in program. A CL 12 kaadu will turn into a CL 10 motley kaadu and still be a mount.

Wild non-CHs mounts include:

Lesser dewbacks

Lesser plains bols

Lowland brackasets

Carrion spats

I don't know why, but plodding falumpasets and motley kaadus, which were introduced into the game in the mount publish to serve as non-CH mountable critters, no longer spawn babies.

There are no wild bantha or cu pa varients below CL 11, so a non-CH must get a bantha or cupa from a BE.

sorry do dig this back up, but its the only thread on the topic I could find....

now, the list of mountable creatures under the excellent CH guide thats stickied here doesnt list Banthas. May I ask what sorts of Banthas a CH can use as mounts? I really want one of those

The four types of wild banthas with babies are:

level 15 bantha
level 15 feral bantha
level 17 dune bantha
level 20 bull bantha

Yes. I can not remember any other Bantha type.

For me, I am using a Dune Bantha. I like it, it's big and strong

Since we're on the subject of banthas, can anyone give me a good spot on Infinity to harvest some bantha? I went out with my /areatrack yesterday and, I'm not joking, went from Mos Eisley to Jabba's, via Dark Sands and Wayfar, then over to Amber Ridge and on to Mos Krayt before heading back to Mos Eisley via Mos Taike. Grand total of banthas seen? 0. I'm trying to help an artisan buddy of mine with his armorsmithing and he wants, I think he said, 2k wooly hide and about 5k bone. Merry (my BE lvl 13 Razor Cat) and I can take down a feral bantha easily, and I get about 2k polearm xp per bantha. There was a static heard spawn by the swoop track droid, but that's turned into eopies.

I'm going to swing by swgcreatures.com and grab the sightings list in hopes it'll help, but if anyone's got any good spots I'd be really grateful if they could let me know.

I've seen spawns of banthas at the Krayt graveyard, hope that helps.
