ok to combat the combat medic, it seems that there will be buffs coming into the game that protect you against poisen/disease? Does that not hurt the ONLY thing a creature handler has going for him in combat?

yes, this will affect all DOT's. weapons, NPC specials, pet specials, and CM poison and disease.
