I just started this profession, and I'm having a ton of trouble.

1) I tamed a baby cu pa. I can not get it to attack anything. I will start a battle then move my cursor to my pet and click to pull up the radial menu select train and then attack, but nothing happens. I've tried this with several different ypes of enemies, but nothing changes. I cant get him to do anything.

2) Whenever I try to tame a baby Dewback it says I can't tame that.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I predict as i type this some one else is also, but oh well. First off welcome to CH may it be very rewarding for you.

What u need to do , is train the pet to use any command u like prior to going into battle.

i.e. click on pet, select train, select command to train, a question mark will appear over pets head, type your command in spatial, and u should get the message that you have taught your pet a new command.

Then you will be able to say that command and send your pet into battle for example.

Remember that the higher the level of the pet, the harder it is to train, and some command should take a couple of trys.

The dewback is probably out of your taming range at the moment, but you will be able to tame them soon enough.

Also the /tellpet command is very useful and can be inserted in to attack macros:

i.e. Pistol macro= /tellpet destroy;

/bodyshot1;

/bodyshot1;

make the macro an icon and put in your toolbar, this way you click on the pistol macro and it automatically sends your pet in to attack, and also spams some of your specials.

I hope this helps, I'm kind of in a hurry, gotta go teach.

Good luck

Forgot to mention that if you use the /tellpet, it can't be a one letter command, it should be a word like "kill"
