Thread: Dark Klikniks Tamable?

Ok, I was just at the Blue Leaf Temple and noticed something...the kliknik dark warriors and defenders have "Tamable: Yes". Is this a mistake like the boss spawns or is there truly a chance of getting one of these? Anyone ever tame one?

Ok, there's one opinion...anyone else?
Seems odd that only a couple of the variations of these say "Tamable: Yes" and not all of them, if this was truly a mistake. If it's because they are at a static spawn, why don't all of them read that? The dark workers and hunters do not, and neither does the Queen.

all animals that spawn at POIs or as boss spawns are overridden to non-tamable regardless of what the flag is set at.
and let's not get into the age old discussion about a certain animal that starts with an F, that's a completely different situation in itself.

I'm at a POI, yes...but the kliknik dark defenders and dark warriors show "Tamable: Yes" whereas the kliknik dark workers, dark hunters, and dark queen all say "Tamable: No". Regular kliknik warriors, defenders, workers, and hunters are all "Tamable: Yes", so this isn't a case of just transplanting the information from one variation (regular) onto the other (dark). These HAD to be modified at some point, but why modify them if there wasn't going to be ababy spawn? This is the only location the dark klikniks spawn at, so POI or not, maybe there truly is a chance that a baby one will spawn thusmaking each of them a new rare. Yes, I understand that at most POIs the tamable option is overriden, but there is always a chance that is wrong or not in effect at certain places. Has anyone bothered to try and get a baby from here to prove it? We just assume that none appear. So I plan on going back a few times at least and test my theory. Maybe a pointless search, yes...but no more pointless than hunting for a GPS (at least on my server it is)or bull rancor or the fabled "F" animal you mentioned...
