I'm trying to puzzle out what all regulates CH xp in combat.

fighting something with a cl around 25:
Seems that if I use a CL 15 pet AND a CL 18 pet, I'll get 420/460 xp.
If I use a cl 23 pet, I get 1 xp

fighting with my graul, I eithor get 1xp or 2000xp. if it's a krayt or nightsister, I get 2k, else I get 1xp, even if he's fighting bigger grauls, or rancors.

What's the ryme or reason behind this? anybody have a clue?

There is a formula that I could never figure out because it does not seem to be consistent. As a general rule the lower the CL of the pet, the more xp you get per kill. This is unless there a large difference between your pet's CL and the MOB's. Use a CL 10 pet on a CL 50 Mob you will get less experience than if you use a CL 19 on the same MOB. If your pet's CL is equal to or greater than the MOB you get 1 point. While I can not give you the formula, I have found that CL 10 pets give me the best xp on mid level MOBS like Quenkers and Pickets. I find that a CL 19-20 pet give the best for high end MOBS like Bull Rancors and such.
