Hey all,
I have 9 of my critter commands bound to the numpad on my keyboard but would very much like to expand on this.
Enter my dilemma.
Whenever I try to bind specific commands/macros to the regular keypad (ie: A, S, D, F) it fails because these keys automatically default to the chat boxes. Is there a way to disable this so that I can just click on the chat line when I want to talk? Man that would make my life easier and my incaps less frequent....
Thanks!

i think that there is, and it would be under the pre-set keylist, one of those...
if not, mess around in the ctrl+o box for a bit, i'm sure you'll find it

On the keymap options page (I'm not sure which one since I'm at work), there is a toggle to turn modal chat off. That will let you toggle between chat and a 'functional' keymap.
Personally, I use the keypad for all my creature commands. With the ability to use Ctrl, Shift and Alt sequences, I won't run out of space.
