Creature Handler Archive

The statistics in my opinion of Creature handler not being played are outdated. And I am sure they come from before the new CH system that completely revitalized interest in Creature Handler. They claim to of removed Creature handler because allegedly they are not being played. They kept Commando, and I know for a FACT that there are far more Creature Handlers then Commando's right now. So this is bunk. My Bio pet vendors are impossible to keep full. I see creature handlers constantly. My creature handler tournement on tempest was imensly successful, and a lot of fun even for the spectators. There was even a PVP fight going on nearby that stopped to watch.

The reason that Creature handler Slumped, was the same reason there are few Commandos' they kept screwing it up.

I have heard an alternative argument that Creature Handler was also overlooked for being reworked because allegedly it is not Star wars like enough.

Who trained and kept the Rancor that Jabba the hut used to execute people? The Human who came into the chamber and cried when that Rancor looked a lot like a Creature handler to me.

Who trained the Ton tons and other mounts you see in the movies?

The Creature Handler might of been somewhat smaller, but it was on a serious recovery. And it kept a lot of people interested in this game.

Here is what is garanteed not to accomplish anything if we want to save CH:

1. Insulting the DEVS does not exactly encourage them to listen to us, or even read our posts. Anymore then it would make you want to if you were someone involved with customer service.

2. Dropping CH.

3. Doing nothing at all.

Here is what you have to lose if you dont respond to this thread. Your favorite proffession, or just a proffession that you like to see around. I know even before I personally caught the CH bug, it was always a magical proffesion to me.

Here is what you have to gain, if you allow yourself to be discouraged, bitter and just give up.

1. Nothing.

I know a lot of you would just rather quit out of spite to SOE. But if you were going to quit anyway, why not at least give this a try. Post. Post like mad. Spam it on every server. Get people to come forward and say how much they love CH.

I am going to do this, and take it a lot further. I am going to have another Creature handler tournement on Tempest. I would like to see CH's from other servers there, even just to watch and take part as a spectator. I am going to make a Fraps movie of it. And hopefully share the awesome expirience that my CH tournements have become. And also show off how much people really love their pets.

If I dont accomplish anything? Fine. But nobody is going to take CH from me without me doing my best to explain why they shouldnt.
