Creature Handler Archive

As you may have seen, Thunderheart just announced that the Combat Upgrade is the next thing on the Devs' plate now that JTL has been released. This will be a far more sweeping set of changes to the core combat system than just balance. To that end, they're going to slowly build up to a Closed Beta before it eventually goes to Test Center.

Please take a look at theinfo TH provides in that thread (both in the original post and his subsequent replies), and feel free to sign up for the Beta if you're interested in helping to make combat (for CH and everyone) the best it can be.

There are definitely exciting times ahead. I'm really looking forward to where this is going, and I think together we'll really be able to make things fun and tactical.

Thanks for the support. The ball is in your and the Sandbox Tester's court. As I just pointed out in another thread, it is time the Testers really understand what CH want. I am not second guessing your observation skills. But I am saying now is the time for every CH to weigh in some comment as to the role they best want to see. It seems apparent from TH's comments the community is going to be locked out from this tweaking atleast in Alpha.

well, Im rifles/Ch on farstar, they are the only proffs Ive been there since launch last november.

Im CH on TC,alog with 4 other levelled toons, and I applied for the closed beta.

I have 2 members of the guild I run in the sandbox, they cant say detailsobviously, but Im told I will be pleased, from what info they have been given so far.

If I can get into closed beta, I'll do my best to make this prof the best it can be.
