Pretty much the same plan here....

I have learned 16 specials (14 L1 specials and 2 L2 specials) with 6 specials (5 L2 and 1 L1) to learn from tames in my datapad. I foolishly wasted some time learning L1 specials from CL30+ creatures, or I might have done better. Still a long way to go though.

• 1 Level 3 ability

Datapad (from memory), all untaught:

• 12 Level 2 abilities


• 4 Level3 abilities


• 3 Misc. pets I can't bear to part with


• One catch/release slot.

At this point, I've given up taming until I can grind out some of the above abilities and free up some slots.

Lack of pet storage... stinks.

Have to agree, if ever there was a case for the deeding of datapad pets, or the stable proposal, the new pet storage requirements this system inflicts on us is it.

Im currently trying to learn new specials (currently have 12 level 1, 3 level 2 learned, 5 tamed to learn L2 skills from in my pad), but also most of my guild are asking for new non CH mounts(everyone in the guild uses mounts on guild hunts, more fun and helps me with keeping pets out during travel) , with level 1 abilities like fleet of foot , and I just dont have the datapad room to have mounts being trained and babies to learn off, a sitiation that, more than ever before, needs looking at.

I just started testing it out last night and was able to get 1 level 1 special in my datapad on approx 8 tames. It sure was a pain in the butt, especially with the limited datapad storage space.

Any advice would be appreciated. Do you have better success getting specials when taming higher level pets? I was primarily taming levels 11 to 17.

Haven't learned any yet, but then I don't get to play a lot. I have two pets with L1 abilities that I've been trying to level up - one is CL14, the other CL25. One has gone up 3 experience levels and opened an ability slot, but I still haven't learned the special. (Something that stuns, forget what it's called). Guess I should have started with CL1-5 creatures, but by the time I found them I had already been working on the ones I have. It's gonna be a long haul.

I currently focus on level 1 abilities. First I tame until all slots are used up, then I go to fight some MOBs to learn the specials until my datapad is empty again.

Learning L1 is pretty easy, since I always have 3 pets called at the same time with different specials. Currently about 23+ specials learned...

I too will start training of my pets, after I learned all abilities...

Speaking of all abilities, has pin attack already shown up???

Not doing nearly as well as some of you, so far I've got about 12 (L1) specials. But then again, I'm also training some of my low level keeper pets at the same time, so far I have 2 pets with all ability slots unlocked, and 2 more than just need 1 more ability slot.

So far I have 17 L1, 4 L2 and 1 L3.
3 L2 and 2 L3 waiting in my datapad.

Dang! I thought I was doing good to have learned 3 L1 abilities with 8 more L1 and L2 abilities waiting in datapad! LOL

i have 2 L1 and 1 L1 in the data pad

also i have 2 L2s in the data pad.

my problem is just about every tame has no special or a special i already have

ive been all over naboo and tat looking for the L1 but i am just not having any luck.
