I'm so confused. It appears it works sometime and not other times. I've tried it with the pet name as well. (/tellpet spot attack). I've taken case into consideration.

Can someone please enlighten me?

Please excuse my lack of searching... It appears single letter commands don't work with tell pet...

It works fine for me. Capitalization has to be perfect given what the pets' commands were trained as.

I typically use a macro'd button with /tellpet Kill and /tellpet Heel for controlling my pet(s) in combat, and it was working great when I was last logged in.

I never use the pet name in the commands, but that's because after I give it a name, I go back to those commands and retrain them without the name included, to keep the command short and simple and avoid problems.

Edit: I figured that was the problem. Even during training, you can't train single-letter commands with /tellpet, you have to say them in spatial. Try two or three-letter commands, if you want it real short.

I've had some trouble with /tellpet. It works for every command, and then one day, "/tellpet dance" no longer works. "/say dance" does though. Go figure.

I had a problem with /tellpet guard not sure if its worked out yet or not. I have all the commands macroed that way makes training a bit easier

a tellpet group command has never worked for me.
