I gave up master ch just after the bif revamp, so that i could finnaly master bounty hunter. I have a problem though, i still pine for my old rancor, i used to love him, took him wherever i went, allways took good care of him, and, with the 33 skill points i have left, i want to know if i can get a high enough skill mod to call a rancor, or gnarled rancor?
Example would be:
4 3 0 0 ch - would that be enough to get me a rancor/gnarled rancor?

4-3-0-0 gets you a max CL of 31. I've never seen a rancor that low.
http://www.bloodfin.org has a nice character builder. I'd suggest downloading it so you can play around with your build and see what all you can do.

To call a gnarled rancor, you'd need to have a call level of 45. A rancor is 50. In short, you'll need nearly all the boxes before you can call either.

Even BE'd rancors can't go lower than 40 no matter whatthe stats, they set a basement cap on them...

35 is the lowest lvl a BE can make. Just to make sure you knew.

Yeah, having a basement level CL that's high for rancors is a good thing.
We don't want any non-CH rancors running around. The first CH nerf happened because too many novice CHs were running around with rancors they bought from MCHs.
