Not sure, but would you mind telling me where you tamed him? What kind of lair? I have been looking to tame myself one, along with an arachne widow, for some time.

No Problem, I was on a Blurrg hunting misison on Endor at co-ords -1592, 895 and there was a lair within 80m of my spawn that had the Merek Death's Head Baby and a Merek Assasin adult in it. I cannot remeber totaly but I am sure it was labeled 'Brambles'.

Dang you lucky bastage, those are the same lairs I've been trying forever, brambles with assasins....yup. I lost count how many times the death deads have sent me to the cloning center, they do CRAZY damage(480-670 I believe), and have nasty poison and disease... They always tear up my toxic merek battlelord too, highly social creatures, they like to zerg you.

I guess I really must be lucky because like I said I was going about my business and bam i saw a little yellow dot beside a read dot i tabbed to it and woo hoo a sweet little MDH just setting there for the taking

Now I would be lieing if I said getting it was easy...the dang little bugger aggo'd me on my speeder and chased my for over 500m before he dis-engaged and I sped back before he did the de-spawn bug thingy and was able to get him after 2 more tries.

IIRC they say the gaping recluse has a ranegd attack too, but mine never uses it, only my gaping hunter.

I trained my Gaping Recluse the ranged attack, but since I only got him last night, I haven't used him in combat yet. My Gaping Hunter does use his though.

As far as, as Mereks Death Head, I haven't seen one in a long time. Has anyone fought one recently and if so did you get hit with a ranged attack?

Not since the publish giving ranged attacks back, no, I haven't. I'll go out sometime tonight and see.

Can anybody confirm if the MDH does indeed have a ranged attack ?

According to swgcreatures, it does. I've seen one baby in the past few weeks, with a fair amount of time on endor. Still not an MCH, so couldn't tame it. (soon, someday soon...)

Nice trophy for rarity, but the TMB and DMA are better tanks, IMO. TMB has better resists, ranged, good specials, and dbs.

I haven't heard anything yet, but I am planning on heading to Endor later this week, I will see if I can find one and hopefully not end up dead,
