back when i first started the game the first thing i did was get ch. it was pretty fun. i saw many people run around with those rancors at novice ch, i laughed at them and kept on my merry way. eventually i got close to master ch but due to financial issues *being a teen who has parents that wont let him get a job i couldnt pay for the game for a while* i had to quit swg. but before quitting i swapped professions to see what BH was like got half way up that and then my subscription ended. when i returned recently i had only a few blocks of CH left and i thought "this will be ok, it wont take forever but it will take time to get where i was before" and then i realized something. i couldnt use any of my pets and i read up on things and found out they literally turned the ch tree upside down. it made me blink and think "well okay its fixed better now" so i went out and got myself a cl20 pet and started doing stuff. im not sure quite why but i couldnt get any actual xp. it was slower than combat xp at novice marksman with nothing but a loot cdef pistol. i asked around to figure out why my CL20 pet doesnt do too much damage, and is worse at tanking than me. and i got laughs for responses. so apparently ch still has the same capabilities with pets, but they slowed the xp down to that of near frozen molasses. seeing as CH is where my heart lies im going to stick with it to the end because i know that in the end MCH will be the same as it was back when i was reaching for it but the devs apparently stretched the path to master by quite a bit. am i the only one who is affected by this incredibly slow ammount of xp? or quite possibly since they altered CH my same strategy as before doesnt work.

here is my strategy that i used before.

get a pet that is a CL slightly above what im hunting, which is something that i could barely solo myself without having to sit fora heal. then i would send in the pet to do the first hit, after that i chime in with my weapon and begin the assault until my prey is half dead, then i call my pet to me and draw its attention from the pet. at that point i attack it and then let the pet give it another shot while im the one tanking, so me and my pet take turns tanking. and then the prey is dead. when i try that these days my pet instantly dies and im left with an enemy who is barely scratched. i have tried pets with high resist low damage, low resist high damage, and moderate resist moderate damage and get teh same results each time i try these days!

so to wrap things up in my obviousely long story, am i doing it wrong?

my friend, i've been mch twice, once the old fashioned way using two kliknik defenders for double xp on everything we killed and the new way which is to goto yavin4 to the geo labs. the geo labs is the best and fastest way to get mch nowadays, take a mch with u if u know one to train u while u level up. hope this helps, gl

If you ain't died, you ain't playin' the game...
