So far I have spent about 5 to 6 hrs on Cor looking for a rasp. I've been all over the planet looking. Went to the swamp, all the cities , even looked under a few logs. NOTHING, not a single rasp other than the Howling Plumed ones which aren't tamebale of course. I found tons of vynocks but who wants those???? Other things are spawning so I know its not that but not a single tameable rasp. I thought these were very common? Did the dev gods kill these off?

that's pretty much because me and my buddies KILLED EVERY LAST ONE OF EM!
heh, sorry, Rangers have an innate hatred towards rasps in amounts thatwould bring even Yoda to the Dark Side. No matter how concealed you are, a rasp has a 90% chance of breaking your concealment, and for what? To be insta-gibbed in a single hit by even a newbie. I mean, with that much usefulness to your flying crittery life, why not just DIE! sorry, rambling off again 
As far as location goes, they do seem pretty rare sometimes. I haven't explored every last bit of Corellia, but so far there's not an area that I can name Rasp Spawnage like I can with most other animals. I usually kill em pretty close to Coronet though. South and Southeast mostly.

Well I just got back from the swamp and got a plumed and a Agrilat rasp. There were spawns all over the place today. Last night there wasn't anything at all. All of Cor seemded dead last night too, server reset prob fixed it. Gonna check out talus now and see what types are still tame able. Thx for all the help and info guys.

A friend of mine askd me to get her a rasp (lvl 6) and i went to Rori for them.
Since then i have been back a few times to grab more. I usealy have one out when im in a starport / city and im not busy. Have gotten guite a few tells for them. I sell them for 5K eatch and ppl happely pay it.
I added some sightings on SWGcreatures, but dono why there not listed.
I found most North of the Poachers VS creatures battle POI. Mabey 1.5 to 2Km north.

You might wanna check Talus for Rasps. I know I've tamed a horned rasp there, and seen almost every other species of rasp. You can usually find some around the Imp Outpost, and you can even take missions on them if you want. I usually have my rancor eat them all for fun.

I've seen wild rasp lairs S of Doaba Guerfel, well away from the Agrilat, but the Agrilat is the most likely place to find rasps that are tamable. The howling rasps are just annoyances. Last night I had my dewback take out a bunch of them because I didn't want my crafting grinding to be disturbed.

I went to that swamp 3 times last night and not a single birdy. Could have just been a server thing tho, I cruise on up there 1 more time and then I'll fly out to talus.

Talus is the place for you man, I garantee you'll find and tame a baby in under one hour.
