Thread: Dropping CH but love my pets, some advice please.

I'm slowly dropping my Master CH as I work on fencing. I know that I can still use a lvl 10 pet that is not vicious (cons red in the wild)right? I have bio eng clothes that give me 25vicious Taming and 25 wild taming. How will these stats affect me as a non CH? Will I be able to keep a lvl 10 angler or something else that would con red? I basically like the bugs and spiders and I'm trying to figure out a way to keep one as a non-CH. Any ideas?
Also as I lose stored pets abilityare they deleted from my pad or will they stay?

You will not be able to use an aggro pet as a non-ch. The clothes will not help. If you can find a level 10 or below non aggro spider you will be able to use it. I do not know if a BE can make one for you or not. You pets do not go away, they just stay in your datapad. So, get all the level 10 creatures you plan to use before you give up CH because you will not have the room to store them after. You can still use the non-ch pets after you give it up but you can not get new ones.

He's right. After you drop Novice CH, you can't control the vicious ones at all. And the BE's won't be able to makea non-vicious one, because "viciousness" is based on the type of creature that they make for you.Unfortunatly, all spiders and cool looking insects that they can make are vicious.

One more question. Whatis the lowest CH levelI would need to be to have the ability to keep the viscious creatures?

I believe that actually depends on if you're a wookie or not. I'm sure I'll get corrected, but I believe a wookie can use vicious at CH level 1000, maybe even at novice. If you're not a wookie, it should be 2000.

Right now I'm 0/0/0/4, and I can still call my savage humbaba, kusak stalker, and giant carrion spat.
I would wager that if I were to drop the entire management line, I'd still be able to call the giant carrion spat, which is trained as a mount and thus frozen at CL 12.
