Ok I did a search but found little.
This is has been going on for weeks, the reasonI am not going crazy is that my very best pet, a Gaping spider hunter level 69 attacks fine every single time.
None of my other pets will attack, all range in levels form 23-67 including panthers, grauls, rancor, Kimogilla, etc. etc both BE and non BE. I was a way for a long time and came back in June.
The pets do follow other commands, store, follow, tricks etc...they just wont attack or rarely attack.
(sigh) any help appreciated .
I am a Master CH (started at launch).

By any chance, are they registering as level 0 (1)? With 0-1 HP and small amounts of damage?
If that is the case, it's a bug that has been going around as of lately. You might want to rescan for updates for your game.
If it's not the case, I don't know what to suggest. You could file a ticket, but it's probably not going to get you anywhere, I'll ask around and see if anyone else is having this problem.

No I had the (0) 1 bug along with everyone else, this is a problem that has exsisted ever since i came back to the game in early June, since then I finshed my MBH tag and have been hunting using my one pet that attacks,so it is nota show stopper but it is starting to become annoying.

What I have noticed is that if my pet does not have ranged attack, then it hunkers down in one spot. If the target moves it won't attack, but if it gets back in range it will. My gaping hunter or any ranged pet will continue to attack without problem.
I'm guessing it is an AI issue and pets without ranged attacks are either trying to switch to a non-existant ranged attack or they cannot close the distance.

Re-train 1 of the problem pets with a new attack command, and see if that works?

Have you tried saying your attack command "out loud" instead of using /tellpet? I've had several pets that would stand idly by as I got my arse kicked even though I was spamming my "/tellpet kill" macro (which normally worked fine). As soon as I used the Spatial chat box or /yell the exclamation point would appear and they'd start to attack.
