Well, people get tissues from a BE woven into clothes. They are different from tapes as tapes can be added to clothes later.

These Tissues don't increase your CL. They give you a bonus to your taming wild creatures mod or is it Vicious creatures mod. They give you a better chance of succeeding while you're taming creatures. They also let you call some high level BE pets that could not otherwise be called. As I understand it a creatures level is added to it's ferocity if this sum goes above your Max level of pet then you won't be able to call it. For example say you have a level 65 pet that has a ferocity of 7. You'll need a skill tape attachment in order to call it out because it exceeds your Max level.
