Thread: Ungrouped Pets Now Eat 40% Of Harvest
I'll be bringing this up in the Scout and Ranger forums if someone hasn't beaten me to it.
Edit: more data -- it seems this only happens if you have grouped with the pet(s) at all. Once you disband the system thinks you're still grouped. Since most of us group with our pets to improve mission quality this is still an issue. Workaround for now is to get your missions, store the pets and recall without grouping.

Can't these guys publish an update without breaking 50% more things than the fix?

In the past, if you were solo with a pet, but weren't grouped with it, you didn't take the grouping penalty. Last night, I did.
For what it's worth, I'm not experiencing this. I think if you have the pet out, group with it to raise the level of the missions you have access to, then ungroup it, there might be some sort of residual problem where the grouping penalty is applied. If the pet has not previously been grouped with you on this adventure outside of the datapad, you don't get harvest eating.
Corellian avian on Ahazi is red hot right now, so I've been taking a break from the casual solo meatlump bashing/hope to get a crystal dropto go after carrion spats, and have been pretty deliberately NOT including a pet when browsing missions; me and my FWG have just enough power to pull carrion spat lairs, and that's what I'm looking for since I don't have enough power now as a 0/0/0/4 CH to pull giant spat missions. I call out the pet only as aggro control (I usually can take down a spat from prone or kneeling with healthshot 1 and a series of bodyshot 2s before it figures out that I'm shooting at it and aggros) and transportation, and it's not cutting into the harvest yield.
