Thread: Can't Tame Pet :(
is it in an "aggro skin"?
You need to be higher in the Taming branch to get more + taming viscious modifiers to be able to tame agro stuff.

Hmm.. I honestly don't know if its in an aggro skin, and I'm at work..
Is there some sort of alternative formula then for figuring out what level you can tame..? I just figured if the max level it could grow to was below my max taming level, that it would be fine, but is it calculated differently? Like my taming vicious has to be higher than that level too, or...?

I think we'd have to see the stats on it to tell. I'm thinking that taming 1 with your CL at 25 should handle a lvl 23. I know it does on wild. It's also possible the CL or the deedis bugged.
I've actually gotten BE pets a week ahead of time (where the CL was over my current ability) and been able to call them right away. Once they grew to the higher CL, I'd be unable to call them until I levelled up.

Taming 1 has no + to taming vicious, so I still think that that is the problem.
Can you remember what sort of pet it is? If you tell us what (body type/skin) it is, we can tell you if it is an agro critter.
Your max level of pet is what determins the max cl you can control, but your taming vicious mod comes into play as well if it's an agressive critter.

And I'm dumb and forgot I am away from my computer until sat. night, so I can't check about the type/skin etc...
I very much appreciate the replies and information though you guys. I will check when I get back saturday night and see what it is, and I will get taming 2 ASAP and see if that makes all the difference..
Thanks again
