Thread: Mount limit!

I got a full grown Gaint Spat. During the growth process I got the message "if you want to stop the pet from growing". I knew this message would popup one day because I read about it in the forums. Only that it allready appeared at level 8 was a big suprise. Because I found it much to young I ingnoredthe message and let it grown.
My question is: is there an overview of which pet can be made to a mount at what level?
Side question: what is the reason for this unpleasant mount limitation?

As of yet that I know only the Giant Carion spat put out that message. Something about saddle grafixs. No other mount gets that message. Thelargest Mount I have is a Hamababa and highest cl is a Brakeset.
Most pets need to be at least 1/2 thier cl before you can trtain them as mounts.

Only the Giant Carrion Spat gets that message, because otherwise it would be far too big for a saddle. It's maximum mountable hight is below half it's full so it would look pretty stupid riding in on a creature four times the size of you. Sounds pretty cool actually
