sounds like a putz to me...
i was a 3444 BH and went on to do something else because of the bugs but im not so lame that i am going to wrap my entire life around one skill set. maybe i will go do BH and jedi hunt after pub7 it sounds like a lot of fun.

"What would I do to save this game? It's Star Wars, it doesn't need saving anytime soon, but profits may fall hard soon. If SOE could just tone down the bureaucracy, the ego stroking, and blatant ignorance towards their paying customers, maybe they wouldn't have to silence and ban so many Star Wars fans from this game. Some suggestions many of the players and I proposed, on the forums, were that SOE start communicating more to their customers, via the forums and/or emails, and not their usual comments on redecorating, self portrait posts, and mindless trivia. This skeleton crew running the show idea doesn't seem to be working, so hire more programmers, designers, and CSRs to effectively deal with the broken aspects of this game in a 'timely' manner might be a good idea as well. "
Fat chance any of that happening. Personally i feel theres a push to run the game into the ground from SONY execs. Judging from everything ive seen, thespace expansion has little chance of seeing the light of day anytime soon (been awful quiet on that front for sure), and even if it does come out this year I am 100% absolutely certain it will be borked way more than the ground game. I think theupdates/fixes havebeen patched together now so poorly, that most of the glaring bugs probably cant be fixed without serious reworking ...i think this will become the standard for mmorpgs, come out with a bang, get all the money up front, then kill it off as quietly as possible. It can be the only explanation for this whole mess we have affectionatly come to know as "Galaxies".

EXACTLY! This is what the whole article is trying to say... most articles out there talk about all the $ and success of this game. Once this idea of poor service/quick profits-and-run standard becomes the norm of corporate MMO's in the future, then we're all going to go thru this at some point, or again for some of us in another title, and it'll be at our expense.
As far as putting all the skill pts into one basket as a BH, I dabbled in CH with all of them. Just recently changed to a few other trees, but every weapon class the BH's touch, gets nerfed now. Ask the Carbineer correspondent, lol. If u take pride in all your hard work building your character, would u want to be laughed at by people who just picked a lucky class/prof? This article could've happened to anyone of us, if it didn't to you, consider yourselves blessed, for now.

All in all, I say "Praise" - and it was damned skippy of GameZone to publish it.
