I have noticed that fairly regularly I can't loot a mob or harvest a creature. It probably happens maybe 10% of the time. This may seem a small percentile but considering I don't have this problem with any character other than my CH one then I would have to assume it's pet revelent.
It would seem as though our pet at times gets credit for a kill but we do not. Much like if you'r near a trooper spawn and they kill a creature and you are unable to loot/harvest it. Our pets it appears are getting credit as individual mobs would. While inconvienent it could be hurtful on quest's such as necrosis ... where the loot is why you are there.
I haven't dug into this yet and am not sure if it's acontingent aponof pets not being grouped with me yet. But I believe each time it has happenned has been when I was not grouped with my pet. I'l check it out more now that my curiosity is peaked hehe.
Anyone else notice this?

I get the bug where there is just no harvest or loot option quite abit on dant usaly happens when I get allot of lag.

It is probably because you are using your pet to kill but are not grouped with it. If you allow the pet to do the majority of the damage, you will be considered the losing group and won't have looting rights.
The only question I have is are you sure it isn't happening 100% of the time? It does for me.

I've had it happen many times pet was never grouped with me but at sometimes pet was grouped with someone else and it didn't help in the occurence, it has something to do with the exp bug (whichever part of the bug IS a bug anyway) I notice it happens when i get full exp for killing a critter that isn't my level.

I am not sure about about the percentages as I said above it's only just now that my interest was peaked. There are many bugs and much of the time I have a tendency to disregard the unless I die lol.
The probelm here is if this is a standard response to being ungrouped with pets and if it does happen with any amount of regularity then it should be fixed. Anytime our pet gets a kill in no matter if we are grouped or not we should have harvesting and looting rights. This is a flaw that I believe shold recieve attention since it is obviously effecting everyone.
Sooner or later something important that is required of a quest will be lost and alot of hard work will need to be repeated, foresee the problem and rectify don't wait for a problem and fix it after the fact.
